Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway productions - including the revival of Violet and the originating parts in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance at the young age of 15. She then appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych in addition to Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally as a soloist along with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" the first solo disc, and her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster: live at Caf Carlyle". In 2011 she received an Honorary Doctorate at Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a teacher as well as advisor to in the Department of Theatre and Dance. The new TVLand show, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March 2015.
